How to Delete Your Account
⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
Method 1: Delete Account from the App (Recommended)
- Open the Jaayka Bazar app on your device
- Log in to your account
- Navigate to Account Settings from the menu
- Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" button (red button at the bottom)
- Click on "Delete Account"
- Read the confirmation message carefully
- Confirm your decision by clicking "Delete"
- Your account will be permanently deleted immediately
Method 2: Request Account Deletion via Email
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed:
- ✓ Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- ✓ Profile data and preferences
- ✓ Order history and transaction records
- ✓ Saved addresses
- ✓ Wishlist and favorite items
- ✓ Shopping cart contents
- ✓ Saved payment methods
- ✓ App usage data and preferences
Data Retention
Some data may be retained for legal and regulatory compliance purposes, including:
- Transaction records required by tax laws (up to 7 years)
- Data required for fraud prevention and security
- Data subject to legal holds or ongoing investigations
All other data will be deleted immediately upon account deletion.
Before You Delete
Please note:
- Cancel any pending orders before deleting your account
- Withdraw any remaining wallet balance or credits
- Download any important order receipts or invoices
- Once deleted, you cannot recover your account or data
- You can create a new account later, but previous data will not be restored
